Live Stream Operator
Twitch · Full-Game Coverage · Rucker Park
Rucker Park Streetball needs a reliable live stream operator who can run full-game coverage, keep the court framed properly, and understand the rhythm of a Twitch broadcast during live basketball.
This is different from shooting highlights. The stream operator stays locked in for the full game, follows the action, watches audio and connection quality, and helps preserve the recording if the stream drops.
This is a voluntary, unpaid internship. There is no expectation or promise of wages, employee benefits, or future paid employment.
What You'll Handle
Keep the stream focused on live action from tip-off through the final buzzer, not just highlight moments.
Follow the ball, benches, scoreboard moments, and crowd energy while keeping the court easy to watch.
Record locally when possible so Rucker still has the game if WiFi, Twitch, or the stream setup drops.
Help make sure game footage can be uploaded, clipped, reviewed, and reused for player cards, sponsors, and social.
Responsibilities
- ›Operate the stream camera for full games, not just highlight clips
- ›Keep live action framed clearly so fans can follow every possession
- ›Monitor Twitch, audio, battery, storage, and connection issues during the game
- ›Record locally when possible so the game is not lost if the stream drops
- ›Coordinate with the media team so highlight shooters and the live stream are not fighting for the same angle
Good Fit
- You understand Twitch or have real live-streaming experience
- You can follow basketball action and keep a moving game properly framed
- You stay calm when live tech breaks and can troubleshoot quickly
- You can choose game nights and hours that fit your availability
